Mary Wallace-Green, born in Houston in 1953 studied art at a young age by attending the children’s art program at the Houston Museum of Fine Art. She later earned a BFA from the University of Texas at Austin. She taught film and digital photography to deaf students at Texas School for the Deaf for 32 years while creating art in her free time.
After retirement she has painted in oils and shoots film and digital images
dividing her time between Port Isabel in south Texas and Austin.
Mary’s work has been exhibited at Seaside Art Studio and Kingfisher Gallery on S. Padre Island, Center for Contemporary Art in Abilene Tx, Mira Gallery in Port Isabel Texas and will be included in a juried show at the Conroe Art League.
